Welcome to Truth in Love Counseling, Christian counselors for all walks of life.

Christian Counselors, Psychologists, and Therapists.

When you choose the Christian counselors of Truth in Love Counseling, you have selected a group of counselors who share your views and beliefs in God and who truly integrate their faith into the counseling process. Whether you are seeking grief therapy, marriage counseling, or individual counseling, your counseling will be grounded in the principles of God’s Word and the Scripture. Truth In Love Christian counselors will come to you with the unique advantage of being able to approach your issues holistically on the dimensions that all humans are physical beings with bodily needs, social beings with relationship needs, psychological beings with cognitive needs, and spiritual beings with a need for God.

The biblical understanding of these dimensions lets us know that God has made humans physical, social, psychological, and spiritual beings, and all of these will be addressed during your counseling sessions. Not only will your counselor have a thorough understanding of the word of God, but they will also guide you on how to apply it to your unique situation by combining your faith with the principles of psychology to improve your mental health and relationships. Therapies can include the use of prayer, scripture, and biblical teachings to help you deal with what is challenging you or your relationships.

Truth in Love Counseling provides a combination of psychological counseling and spiritual guidance with a desire to help you or your family overcome problems, find meaning and joy in life and be healthy and well-adjusted individuals, both mentally and emotionally.

Do You Have to Be A Christian to Get Help?

All counselors at Truth in Love Counseling respect all walks of life and will never make anyone of any faith uncomfortable by pushing the Christian beliefs. We welcome everyone into our offices, regardless of religious affiliation. Before or after your therapeutic session we may ask if you would like to pray together but we respect anyone who chooses not to. Sometimes even those that pray at home don’t feel comfortable doing it in public and therefore we never push on the matter. Our main focus is your healing in a way that works for you.

“Finally, a therapist that helps me see the root cause of some of my issues. A safe way to remove the band-aid and heal from within to move forward.”

— Heather J, Client

“My sessions with Jay were very helpful at a difficult time in my life. I have never been more comfortable with my life and who I am than the time since counseling with Jay. While I was there for a specific situation, I feel that the time spent benefitted my overall emotional health.”
